How does it work?

A five-day experience aimed specifically at educators and school leadership. Here is a sample agenda although the exact days are subject to change given the school and cultural institutions availability.

Day 1: Introduction to educational innovation and global leadership for educational transformation
We will begin by exploring what it means to innovate in education and what defines an innovative school. Through a virtual journey, we will visit inspiring schools around the world to analyze their learning spaces, methodologies, and digital integration models. Later, we will work in teams to identify the shared characteristics of these schools and take a closer look at how innovation is shaping school libraries. The day will conclude with a reflective session on metacognition.
Day 2: Technical foundations of AI, digital equity, and ethical considerations
The second day will center on AI as an innovative tool in education. We will explore how educators can navigate AI’s potential and apply it within their own contexts. Later, we will discuss ethical considerations, digital equity, and how to establish AI protocols that align with our school values.
Day 3: Exploring Catalonia’s Educational Model
We will take a cultural visit to the Gabriel García Márquez library or to a different innovative educational institution working in the ecosystem to gain insight into the innovations in the Catalonian school model. This visit will provide an opportunity to understand the local educational landscape and reflect on different approaches to innovation in learning environments.
Day 4: Practical applications of AI in teaching for inclusive classrooms
The focus will be on AI’s role in inclusive learning and how it can support diverse student needs. We will discuss Universal Design for Learning and examine AI’s impact on accessibility, pedagogical design, and administrative support. As we reflect on the future of education, we will consider how AI can help develop essential skills and reshape assessment strategies. The day will also include a visit to a local school to see innovation in practice.
Day 5: Sharing Best Practices for School Transformation and Future Implementation
Friday's topics could include active learning methods, design of learning spaces, school leadership teams, digital transformation or media and information literacy. We will exchange best practices from across Europe, reflecting on how innovation is already being implemented in different educational settings. In collaborative discussions, we will share ideas, strategies, and key takeaways to bring back to our own schools. The program will conclude with a reflective session and a celebration of our learning journey.
360 planning support
We offer comprehensive support for planning your Erasmus+ experience. Throughout the trip, we will help you with logistical planning, answer your queries, translate for you and be available for any other requirement that might need addressing during your stay.
