ABOUT THE PROJECT

Connect Education

In April 2020, Fundación Telefónica launched the Connect Education project, a personalized online and educational experience aimed at technicians and educators from social institutions who seek to promote the digital transformation of social action.

In the first edition, Connect Education was aimed at teachers at educational centres, educators at social institutions, school children from the ages of 6 to 18, and training for employability for the over 18 year olds. Every participant had access to platforms and digital contents, virtual and live training orientation, and digital and extracurricular educational activities, such as workshops, challenges...

In total, 1,000 webinars were held in the 2020 edition, with more than 10,500 participants, 188 social institutions and 4,600 registered educators. Subsequently, in 2021, the second edition of this project was held from March until December.
